Alex "Tattie" Marshall (born 8 February 1967)〔http://www.premierleaguebowls.net/profiles/alex_marshall.htm〕 is a lawn bowler.〔()〕 He is a record breaking six-time World Indoor Singles Champion and was given the MBE in 2007 for his services to the sport. Alex started bowling at the young age of eight supported by both his father and grandfather. His achievements include Commonwealth Games Pairs Gold in 2002 & 2006, Outdoor World Bowls Championships Singles Silver in 2004, Pairs Gold in 1992 & 2000, Pairs Silver in 1996 and Fours Gold in 1992. Marshall claimed his first major WBT world ranking event outside the World Indoor Championship in 2013 at the WBT UK International Open.〔(Marshall's First International Open Win ) WBT. 08-02-2013.
